CHAZOWN

Chazown is the Hebrew word for vision. We need to have the vision that we were fearfully and wonderfully made. We need to see through our heavenly Father’s eyes. We need to have an eternal perspective. We need to know that God is with us, near us, and provides for us. He has a good plan for us.

But today, we’ll take it from one angle.…

In the period 1999-2016, twenty-five states saw suicides increase by more than 30 person, with the Midwest hardest hit.” I can see how it increasing with injustices happening…

  • Consolation from an Exorcist!

Sophia Institute Press published a book, Father Amorth: My Battle Against Satan by Fr. Gabrielle Amorth with Elisabeth’s Fezzi. • Prayers for Latin America

I, personally, prefer beaches and cruises as my way of vacationing because the relaxing is a nice balance for my regularly intense and stressful day to day life. Reading about life in other countries is a way for me to “visit” other countries though! Sophia Institute Press published in 2025, one such book, which covers…

  • Mind Your Own Business!

When I’ve overheard someone saying, “mind your own business”, I’ve tended to be cautious and ponder on the phrase. It is good to care about others. So that contradicts the phrase. The phrase also implies a focus on oneself which if done to the extreme is selfishness. But today, we have a priest saying in…
